Kate Winslet of the "Titanic Fame" is a beautiful and well accomplished British actress coming from a family of people in the theatre. It was quite obvious that Kate had to join theatre too. She was born on October 5th, 1975 in Los Angeles, USA.
At age 11, Kate began taking acting lessons in Maidenhead and secured her first acting role in a Sugar Puffs commercial dancing with the Honey Monster. After that, she appeared in a few television series. On one of them, Dark Season, she met Stephan Tredre, many years her senior, who became Kate's first real love interest. They were together for quite some time, and continued to be extremely close. Stephan passed away in December, of cancer, causing Kate to miss the Hollywood premier of Titanic
"My hair-style is a frohawk. The back of my hair is a mohawk, the sides are buzzed, and the top of my hair is bought to the middle. I usually first straighten my hair for half an hour, especially the back, and then i use "TRESemme" hairspray to spike it up. I just put my head down and spray. I use to use wax and gel, but hairspray puts a better look on my style. It gives the dry look that I have been looking for."
