Carmen Electra: 'I'm in No Rush To Marry'
Model-turned-actress Carmen Electra has laughed off reports she is getting cold feet about marrying former Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, insisting she in no hurry to walk down the aisle.
Electra became engaged to the rock musician during the weekend of her 36th birthday in April and has faced constant questioning about when the big day will be.
Electra tells People.com, "It's funny, everyone else puts so much pressure, (asking), 'When are you getting married?'
"If it was up to everybody else, we'd be married and divorced already."
The twice-divorced model/actress recently traveled to Boston, Mass., to meet Patterson's parents.
She adds, "We're taking it slow, and we're happy."
One is not enough for Deepika
Deepika Padukone, who's shooting in China, is doing the second double-role of her brief career. After playing Shahrukh Khan's love interest twice-over in Om Shanti Om, she's back doing a double role in Nikhil Advani's Chandni Chowk To China. Advani isn't revealing the exact nature of Deepika's role.
"It'd be a very different double role from Om Shanti Om," Advani laughs. So strange that she's 4 and one-third characters old in just three films. Celina Jaitley to do an item number
Great news for all her fans - Celina Jaitley will be doing an item number in Ekta Kapoor's C Kkompany. Celina certainly appears to be covering all the bases these days as she is also committed to starring in at least one English-language movie every year. Next up on the block will be The Quest of Scheherazade which may also star Sean Connery and could just provide the big international breakthrough that Celina has been waiting for.
Celina who is currently working on the comedy, Golmaal Returns, says she is excited by the item number because it will provide her with variety in her working life. As she puts it, "I'm young right now; I have a lot of time in the future to de-glam myself. Now I want to do roles of my age which are glamorous; because I have that image - I'm a glamorous woman. I wanted to be called a good and a good-looking actress."
Afghan-born Celina, who was Miss India in 2001, considered to be one of the most sexiest women in Bollywood, has been very busy of late appearing in movies such as Red: The Dark Side, Shakalaka Boom Boom and Heyy Baby.
What does Celina see for herself in the future? "As an actress, I do not want to be bracketed just as a glamorous girl," she explains, "Time and youth are on my side and I am determined to forge ahead in my career and carve a special niche for myself on my own as an actress who can deliver the goods to the satisfaction of her directors."
